Life gets distracting
I’ve spent the past couple of years trying to keep up with the kids. I’ll try to do better about posting.
A synopsis: Ryan’s 9, and comes up to my nose. Ian and Seth are 7 and they both outweigh Ryan. I’m working as a dishwasher at the kids’ elementary school. Part time work, and pay isn’t the best, but I’m able to take off pretty much whenever I need to, and I don’t have to worry about what to do with the kids when school is out. Dennis is doing very well at his job, he’s heavily relied upon by his boss, which unfortunately has the side effect of him being the one to clean up other people’s computer mistakes. On the gardening side, this has been a long and cold spring. There are two kinds of peppers and three kinds of tomatoes in my planters, and it appears that the strawberries that did so very well last season didn’t survive the freezing of the winter months… either that, or they just couldn’t keep up with the encroaching Bermuda grass. I’m meaning to get one of the turning composters this year.
